03About

I’ve run marketing from the inside — not studied it from the outside.

I’m a marketing operator, not a marketing theorist. For years I ran the marketing function from the inside — as the in-house marketing director for a large, multi-location operation, I owned the strategy, the budget, the campaigns, and the number at the bottom of the report.

That seat teaches you things an agency never feels: what it’s like to be accountable for revenue, to answer to an owner across the hall, to make a budget stretch, and to ship on a deadline whether or not the creative is “perfect.”

Somewhere in there I picked up a camera. I taught myself to shoot and edit — not as a hobby, but because the content we needed didn’t exist and hiring it out was slow and expensive. It turned me into the rare marketer who can both build the plan and produce the work that looks the part.

Here’s what I kept noticing: the leadership that grows a big operation is exactly what small and mid-sized businesses are missing. They have budgets, they have hustle — they just don’t have a senior person steering it. So instead of pouring that into one employer, I now embed with a handful of businesses at a time, giving each one director-level marketing without the full-time cost.

I work directly — no junior hand-offs — and I treat every client’s marketing like it’s my own company on the line. Driven by focus, defined by results.

Oklahoma-based — working with businesses anywhere. A builder and a filmmaker before anything else.

How I Work

  • 01Own the outcome, not just the advice.
  • 02The senior person does the work.
  • 03Specifics over superlatives.
  • 04One budget — spent like it's mine.
